The ASA and the RNLI are looking for volunteers and swimming teachers to deliver Swim Safe 2015 at a number of locations across the UK including Boscombe this summer.
This is the third successive year that Swim Safe has run across the UK’s beaches and lakes, with the 2013/14 programmes seeing over 6,000 children take part and learn how to be safe in different water environments.
The programme offers free improver swimming sessions and beach and water safety advice for children aged 7-14. Most young people learn to swim in an indoor pool which is a safe and familiar environment.
